Mediareach Media Acknowledgement Awards 2022

Covid-19 is one of the humanity biggest challenges both at a personal level and devastating for many businesses and its effects will reverberate for years to come.

Mediareach were honoured to be involved in raising public awareness amongst the diverse audiences in the UK of the risks posed by this pandemic.

Mediareach worked with Cabinet Office and produced engaging content in more than 30 languages for television, radio, press and digital in one of the most comprehensive campaigns by the government. More than 2500 pieces of content were created, and messages were changed every week for more than 2 years.

What’s unique about the Covid-19 campaign was that all the work was done without the teams meeting face to face and all briefing happened online, the content was shot in exceptional circumstances observing the safety of our models and celebrity stars and with the full support of the diverse media organisations.

On Friday, the 17th of June 2022, Mediareach Advertising started everyone’s weekend on a highly memorable note, with Londoners enjoying the start of summer.  The event took place at the award-winning Madhu’s Mayfair at the Dilly Hotel Piccadilly.

Mediareach invited all our suppliers and partners from the media at the Dilly’s hotel in Piccadilly to connect, network, acknowledge their hard work and contribution Paying tribute to its valued media and content partners in the UK and everyone who helped convey important messaging during the last two years

The media had a challenging role to play and critical messages to convey. They showed great resilience and real commitment at every partnership opportunity with Mediareach Advertising. Celebrating that, the event acknowledged and awarded the people and suppliers from Television, Radio, Digital, Press and OOH who made this possible. This was followed by a one-minute remembrance that honoured those in the media and the public who lost their lives during the pandemic.

“Mediareach Advertising partnership with our suppliers is crucial part of the work we do, from bespoke content to omnichannel marketing campaigns and a testament to the dedication of our media partners. For that, we have come together to celebrate the diversity, cultural insights, tonality, and inclusivity which made our campaigns a success. We also want to acknowledge the contribution and support our suppliers have offered during these challenging times and say thank you” said Saad Al Saraf, CEO

Media houses from across the UK were gathered to discuss the challenges of the diverse media industry and plan for better collaboration opportunities in the future. Editors, journalists, producers, and different stalwarts of the media family found it a great setting to strengthen their connections and build new ones while enjoying pleasant music, excellent cuisine choices, and photos to remember.

“We wanted to gather our influencers, writers, media professionals, and creatives who regularly help produce relevant content to highly diverse audiences in the UK and globally. They deserve acknowledgment as the behind-the-scenes heroes of great omnichannel campaigns we have produced and broadcasted with efficient results,” added Javed Husain, Media Director.

“These partnerships have been a key catalyst in driving change for the government, the NHS, and other local and global brands during and after lockdown.

This was Mediareach Advertising’s first-of-its-kind event but not the last.
