Indian film launch on Channel 4

Channel 4 has announced details of its annual Indian film season, with films premiered for the first time on British
terrestrial television.

The ‘Centenary of Indian Film Season’ will see the channel celebrating 100 years of film-making in India

with a fabulous cross-section of movies and documentaries that span a range of genres from the classical 30s to the present day.

The season kicks off at 00:15 with ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ (2011), followed by ‘Vicky Donor’ (2012) on

Thursday 5th September at 01:45.
