Greek Festival Dimitria

One of the major events on the calendar of the Peloponnesian Federation of South Australia (PFSA) is the Dimitria Greek Festival held in spring each year in Adelaide.

From the year 2000, the festival has become a joint venture between the PFSA and the Pan-Macedonian Association of South Australia. The festival celebrates Hellenic culture over a one to two week period in late October or early November. The main event of the festival comprises of a carnival held over one weekend where Hellenic cuisine, music, dancing and cultural displays are offered. Other events include soccer carnivals, theatre and concerts.
